1. Acceptance of Terms & Service Overview
By accessing or using AllSubConverter, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. AllSubConverter provides web-based subtitle format conversion, timing synchronization, cleaning, and editing tools. Standard subtitle tools operate entirely within your local web browser sandbox using client-side JavaScript and Web Workers. Your files are processed locally on your device and are never transmitted, uploaded, or stored on our remote servers.
2. User Content & Intellectual Property Ownership
You retain full, exclusive ownership, copyright, and intellectual property rights over all subtitle files, transcripts, and media text that you input into or export from AllSubConverter. AllSubConverter claims no ownership, license, or proprietary rights over your data. For standard browser-based tools, your subtitle files are processed locally and are not transmitted to our servers. AI tools may send the cue text required for the selected operation directly to the provider you choose, as described in our Privacy Policy.
3. Acceptable Use & Safe Harbor Declaration
You agree to use AllSubConverter only for lawful personal and professional purposes. You must not use the service to process content that infringes upon the intellectual property, privacy, or legal rights of any third party. AllSubConverter is strictly a technical file format conversion and editing utility; we do not host, stream, index, scrape, or distribute copyrighted video media or unauthorized subtitle files.
4. AI-Powered Services & API Key Responsibility
For specialized AI features (such as automated subtitle translation, tone rewriting, or pinyin/furigana annotation), requests are transmitted directly from your client browser to your designated third-party AI provider (e.g., OpenAI) using your own API key ('Bring Your Own Key'). You are solely responsible for managing your API keys and complying with the acceptable use policies and billing terms of your third-party AI provider.
5. Subscriptions, Payments & 7-Day Refund Policy
AllSubConverter offers optional paid Pro access, including a 24-Hour Pass (one-time payment without auto-renewal), Monthly subscriptions, and Annual subscriptions. Payments are processed securely via our authorized payment provider. Recurring subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled prior to the renewal date. You can cancel your subscription at any time via 'Manage Subscription' in the Pro menu, which stops future renewals while preserving your access until the end of your paid period. We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee: if you are not satisfied with AllSubConverter Pro, contact our support team at support@allsubconverter.com within 7 days of purchase for a full refund.
6. Advertising & Third-Party Services
We may partner with third-party advertising networks, including Google AdSense, to display advertisements on the website. 7. Disclaimer of Warranties

While our parsers implement documented subtitle format conventions and are tested against common edge cases, we do not guarantee that conversions will be 100% error-free or uninterrupted across all custom media player environments.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AllSubConverter, its developers, and contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data loss, project delivery delays, or device malfunctions arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the service.
